Ayurvedic Wellness Practice and Yoga Therapy are legal but not licensed professions in the State of Colorado.

Ayurvedic Wellness Counseling and Yoga Therapy are for the basic purpose of relaxation, health maintenance, and health enhancement. They are not, nor are they a substitute for, medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed health care provider.

Priti Chanda Klco is not licensed, registered, or certified by any state as a healthcare professional. She is listed as a Certified Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists, whose Scope of Practice is listed here. She is a Certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, a designation recognized by the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and is actively engaged on ongoing study of Ayurveda.

She does not perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness, nor will she advise for or against any course of care prescribed by a licensed healthcare professional.

Any conditions or issues presented in session will be assessed and evaluated according to Ayurvedic and Yogic principles and techniques. Any suggestions or recommendations given will also be based on Ayurvedic and Yogic principles and techniques.

The yoga therapy components of Priti Chanda Klco’s teaching, and her use of the terms “yoga therapy,” “yoga therapist,” “therapeutic yoga,” etc. are based on her training through Ritam School of Healing Arts, Amrit Yoga Institute, The Ayurvedic Institute, and Kerala Ayurveda Academy, Member Schools of The International Association of Yoga Therapists and the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.
