Partner Yoga Play
A Practice to Embody Muditā • Upekṣā • Karuṇā • Mettā
Come play with yoga in relationship!
Partner Yoga Play is a special two-hour practice exploring connection, communication, balance, trust, and joy through partnered movement. Together, we’ll explore familiar yoga shapes in new ways—using touch, counterbalance, support, and shared movement to experience the practice as two bodies together.
Inspired by the four Brahmavihāras—the qualities that capture the heart of practice— muditā (joy), upekṣā (equanimity), karuṇā (compassion), and mettā (loving-kindness)—this is an invitation to bring these qualities out of the realm of ideas and into embodied experience.
Expect movement, laughter, curiosity, and moments of surprising connection. No partner is required; we’ll work together with others in the group.
Some previous experience with yoga and/or stretching is recommended. You don't need to be particularly flexible, but a familiarity with basic yoga movement will help you feel comfortable and get the most from the practice.
